Lexington Alarm Systems

WHY THE CHANGE

Q: I heard that Lexington Alarm Was acquired?   Why?
A: Yes, as of January 2nd, 2018 Lexington Alarm Systems was acquired by Wayne Alarm Systems Inc. of Lynn, Lexington Alarm Systems will continue as current under the Lexington Alarm Systems name with most all the same people.  This is more of a merger to bring enhanced features and technologies.   Don Martini is semi retiring after 45 years, wanting to make sure customers & employees were properly taken care of.

Q: What does this mean for me (the customer)?
A: For service, sales, inspection and customer service, you will see little change.   We have retained most all of the Lexington team taking care of our Lexington customers.   Our monitoring is now combined to a new state of the art local facility in our area.  We are going to be able to offer you an array of new technologies and even faster service times. Using your system and communications will be more convenient.  Wayne Alarm Systems has a local UL listed, FM approved and 5 Diamond certified Monitoring Center.

Q: I did not hear to his change.  When was I informed?
A: We had sent out newsletters to customer in January and again in March to let people know.  In addition to newsletters, we had placed updates on invoices and bills.  In this busy world, it’s hard to follow everything however rest assured we are here to prove you with the best customer service and thank you for your continued support.  We are local, we are full service and we are here for you.

Q: I chose to do business with Lexington Alarm because they are local, now they are gone..?
A: No we are not gone at all. The company will now be their own branch with the same employees, at the same address with the same name, logo and better service.. We are two brand companies under one umbrella

Q: I liked that I could reach the owner Don before if I had an issue... Now what?
A: Don is going to take some time off so rather than waiting, Mike Lordan is easily accessible.
He's been with Lexington Alarm for over twenty years and as the vice president of the Lexington Branch worked hand in hand with Don daily. Our new president Ralph W. Sevinor is equally accessible and if needed, contact him directly at our Lexington Alarm office, or email rsevinor@LexingtonAlarm.com, or his personal cell phone (617) 538-9070. He is available to talk to you directly.

Q: I have done business with companies acquired before. How do I know I can trust them?
A: We actually encourage you to come see for yourself why you can trust the new combined operations. You already know the team at Lexington, but go meet the team at Wayne Alarm Systems and tour our combined facility for yourself.       You are sure to be impressed and we will enjoy showing you.     To arrange , call Lyndsey Reid 781-275-4200  x-196 LReid@Lexingtonalarm.com or Brandon Freedman at 781-595-0000 x 452 or email bfreedman@waynealarm.com

Q: Does this mean my rates are going up?
A: Your current service and monitoring rates are staying the same and there are no increases planned for the foreseeable future.

Q: Who Is Wayne Alarm Systems?
A: Wayne Alarm Systems is a family owned company based out of Lynn, MA that has been in business for over 50 years. It is owned by Ralph W. Sevinor who started the alarm company after his home was broken into when he was only 12 years old. Wayne Alarm Systems is a multi- generational family business that is here to stay.
